"I'm a musician, architect and many more...
I believe that having versatile interests provides an open-mindset that enhances creativity."
I have always been interested in music at every stage of my life since I started singing when I was 7. At the age of 11, I got my first guitar with which I’ve started to write my songs. It was like writing a diary to express my feelings. A year later, I got into Dokuz Eylül University State Conservatory’s part-time education for secondary school students.
I took lessons on solfege and classical guitar for a year.
I studied at İzmir Fatih Science High School where I met my music teacher Mustafa Kamçıcı. I was the singer of the school band under his leadership. In the senior year of high school, I discovered my interest in architecture since it consists of art and science together which is perfect for me. I went to Izmir Institute of Technology and I had the honor to graduate in the 4th place and then I felt the need of having a deeper knowledge of music. So, right after my graduation, I started taking private lessons from my friend Rasih Öztürk, who is a Turkish composer, conductor, producer and guitarist who studied at McNally Smith College of Music, Minnesota, to make my dreams come true.
As an aspiring composer/ songwriter, producer, singer and pianist, I have been studying Solfege, Ear Training, Music Theory- Harmony, Orchestration- Arranging, Piano, Repertoire and Music Technology for the last two years.
Around 2020 and 2021 I was accepted and awarded various scholarships by institutions like Los Angles College of Music, Longy School of Music and Emerson College.
On April 2022, I received Arif Mardin Scholarship by American Turkish Society for Berklee College of Music's Aspire: 5 Week Music Performance Intensive Program for Summer 2022.
Currently, I am a musician and an architect who is running her own business as a self-employed architect and conducting projects while learning and writing music every day among the other interests like painting, graphic design, photography, handicrafts and many more…
