I started singing when I was seven, and by eleven I was writing songs on my first guitar — using music as a diary to understand the world and myself. What began as a childhood passion slowly became a lifelong pursuit.

My early training at Dokuz Eylül University State Conservatory introduced me to classical foundations, while high school gave me the joy of being the lead vocalist in a passionate band and discovering how powerful it feels to create and share music with others. At the same time, I developed a love for architecture and went on to graduate 4th in my class from Izmir Institute of Technology, where I explored the intersection of art and science.

But music kept calling me back. I returned to it wholeheartedly, deepening my studies in harmony, orchestration, piano, and music technology under the guidance of my dearest mentor — now my husband — Rasih Öztürk. I was grateful to receive scholarships from Berklee College of Music, Los Angeles College of Music, Longy School of Music, and Emerson College. In 2022, I was honored with the Arif Mardin Scholarship from the American Turkish Society to attend the Aspire Program at Berklee College of Music.

Today, I’m based in Boston, continuing to grow as a composer, producer, singer, and instrumentalist. I’m currently taking on a personal challenge to learn every song in the Real Vocal Book and share the journey — one song at a time!
